Why do you put so much emphasis on imagination? Isn't it true that we need to use our reason to figure out what is true?

My point of view is that in our modern time we have become far too 'left-brained' and have lost the sense that the universe is a magical, myterious place, which we need to discover for ourselves. We tend to beleive that scientists are doing the discovery for us, and we like to read books by them because they seem to knw what is real and what isn't.

I believe that every human being must engage in their own exploration of the mystery of living in our universe. That is what it means to be human. Only by exploring can we find what our life means — and fulfill its purpose.

I am not excluding or downgrading reason. I simply want to expand each person's ability to "see" the wonders of reality, some of which are completely beyond science.
